Here’s a little peak into our romantic maternity photo session with Trina and Juan… sorry everyone, but this one stays private! We started out by setting up our traveling studio lights at their house for an intimate portrayal of pre-motherhood. After getting some stunning shots indoors, we finished off their photo session at a local park for a more casual approach to the natural beauty that Trina and Juan share in their journey into parenthood together. Starting off at San Diego’s La Costa Resort and Spa, Julia and I joined in the hustle and bustle of pre-wedding mayhem as the gorgeous Kim got ready for the big day. After Tim and Kim stole a private moment for the sake of photography, we all headed over to St. John the Evangelist for an elegant Catholic ceremony.
Their vows were heartfelt, their kiss was loving and little did Tim know what surprise was right around the corner. When all their guests started shouting, “Move that limo!” and Kim’s secret was revealed, the look on Tim’s face said it all… Nice Cadillac! Then it was off to their family-style reception at Gigi’s Italian Eatery in their brand new ride. You’ve got to see these photos!

Starting out in Capo Beach at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, Julia and I met up with Alana and her huge crew of supporters. Her 30 person court was as big as football team and definitely had the endurance to keep it going all through the night. After a chilly little portrait session in the drizzle, we headed over to El Adobe to warm up with some salsa picante, tantalizing tango moves, a beautiful cake, and more wild dance floor action.

After their beautiful ceremony at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, we headed over to the Claremont Colleges for a dramatic sunset escape. The bridesmaids were looking spectacular for their portrait session and the groomsmen just couldn’t keep their feet on the ground – nice shots Julia! Returning to the Double Tree Hotel for their reception, we got a chance to set up an intimate scene in their bridal sweet. Just as Lissette and Richard’s second wind came around it was time to party.
Their reception included a traditional Filipino dance performance complete with audience participation – great moves Richard! Halibut and orange chicken were on the menu and my plate was simply delectable. Cake, dancing, and an all around good time was had by all. Congratulations to the newest beautiful couple on the block! You’ve got to see these photos!!!
