Julia and I started off the day photographing the girls getting ready in their room at Waipouli Beach Resort and then moved on down the road to Kauai Coast Resort for the rest of their wedding festivities. We were dodging blustery island weather most of the day until the rain cleared right in time for their ceremony, a blessing that made for dramatic lighting and stunning photos. Their next stop was the Hukilau Lanai restaurant for a delicious meal and non-stop DJ inspired dancing. Julia and I both want to give special thanks to Michelle and Mike’s families for their friendly attitudes, warm spirits and embracing hearts. We felt like part of your beautiful family all day long… Congratulations and Mahalo!

CLICK HERE to check out the footage from a beautiful property in Poipu. During another architectural photo shoot I found myself hanging out on the lanai of a beautiful house waiting for the sunset. Like always, I was distracted by the distant surf and snapped a keeper. Julia was helping me prep and shoot the house after we spent a nice long day at the beach. It really doesn’t feel like work when you show up with sandy slippers, salty eyebrows and sunscreen residue.

CLICK HERE to see two beautiful people tie the knot. This gorgeous California fall wedding came complete with blustery skies and an incredible sunset. It was obvious that Valerie and Ivan put a ton of effort into planning their wedding day because the schedule ran smoothly and the entire event was flawless. We started off at Eagles Nest Country Club with the ladies as they prepped and powdered. Then it was the guys turn to strut their stuff. Shortly afterward, we made it to St. Irenaeus Catholic Church right on time where rings and vows were exchanged with undoubted love. Their reception was an elegant mix of heartfelt toasts, great food, and a packed dance floor. Best wishes to the newest newlyweds and enjoy the photos!

The ohana has welcomed us into their lives as well as allowing us to photograph their most memorable moments. The entire event took place at the Kauai Coast Resort with a stunning ocean-view ceremony and a gourmet reception at the Hukilau Lanai restaurant. The event was jam packed with Tahitian and Hula dancing, live musical performances, and a special surprise from the bride and groom. These guys definitely know how to party… you’ve got to check it out!

It was an amazing day on the hidden South Shore beaches as Natalie and Scott took some time off from their busy schedule of wedding planning to enjoy each other and the incredible surroundings. They’ve been such great friends to us during our move and it was a pleasure to capture their passionate love. It’s hard to believe, but Natalie and Scott’s personalities are even more beautiful than they appear in the photographs!

This family definitely knows how to party… limbo performances, solo dance exhibitions, musical chairs, and even DJ inspired group levitation. Julia and I had an amazing time photographing and sharing in their celebration as well as being treated to their gourmet lunch :) always a plus! Enjoy the photos.
