CLICK HERE to see Tiara & Matt, two of Kauai’s most amazing people, get married in one of the most beautiful spots on the island! We’re lucky to be friends with this power-couple, and we’re luckier to have had the honor of photographing their incredible wedding day. The entire event took place on a grassy bluff overlooking Kilauea’s Rock Quarry Beach along the North Shore of Kauai. It was easy to become overwhelmed with emotion as everyone arrived with open arms, helping hands, and heartfelt gifts. The air was thick with the true spirit of aloha, and Tiara & Matt were simply radiant. These two are the most loving people we know. They are so deserving of each other and the long road of shared happiness that awaits. A huge MAHALO to Tiara, Matt, and all ohana… Congratulations and enjoy the photos.
CLICK HERE to check out Roxy and Angel’s elegant Eastside wedding at Kauai Beach Resort near Kapaa, Kauai. We began the day with Roxy and the girls putting on their finishing touches while Angel relaxed with his boys. Soon enough, we were on the beach like paparazzi as Roxy and Angel stole a secret moment together before the official ceremony. Just before their traditional kiss, warm sunlight spilled through the afternoon cloud cover right on queue! It was a bright and radiant end to a beautiful ceremony. We finished off their romantic portraits with Kauai’s dramatic coastline in the background and then headed towards the banquet hall for their party. Complete with Hula performances, island music, and a packed dance floor, this party was definitely off the charts, local-style! Many mahalos and a huge CONGRATS to the newlyweds, Roxy and Angel.
CLICK HERE to check out Heather and Joe’s intimate wedding photography from Kauai’s South Shore. We started the event with a private photo session at the Poipu Kai lookout. The dramatic skies and blustery trade winds made for incredible scenery, but most of all it was the affection shared between Heather and Joe that really lit up each picture. As their ceremony drew nearer, we wrapped up the photo session and headed down to Shipwreck’s Beach to meet up with their families and close friends. The ceremony began with the traditional signaling of the conch shell and ended with a sweet kiss, backed by the applause of their witnesses. It was a truly memorable wedding with a truly unique and beautiful couple. Congrats and mahalos to Heather and Joe!
CLICK HERE to see our wonderful friends get married at one of Kauai’s most sacred places, Ke’e Beach. To start things off, we met up with Brittany and Jeff at the Kauai Coast Resort in Kapaa for a quick “getting ready” photo session. Brittany looked absolutely radiant in her dress and Jeff didn’t hesitate to show his affection as they met privately on the beach before their ceremony. Next, we hopped in the car and headed North past Hanalei to the secluded end of the road. With the dramatic Napali Coastline as the backdrop for their traditional Hawaiian wedding, and complete with an endangered monk seal snoozing right next to their ceremony, it simply can’t get any more spectacular than Ke’e Beach! After taking it all in during their ceremony and portrait session, we headed into the jungle for just a few more shots before returning to Kapaa for the best dinner in town at the Hukilau Lanai.
Julia and I were honored to photograph such an amazing couple during the most spectacular day in their lives together. The love and support of their families and close friends was very apparent and shared so generously with us. Huge MAHALOS and CONGRATULATIONS to the newlyweds, Brittany & Jeff!
CLICK HERE for an inside look at Maria and Jay’s big day at Shipwrecks Beach on Kauai’s sunny South Shore. We arrived at the Sheraton Poipu for Maria’s “getting ready” photo session as the final details came together in their tropical ocean-view room. Shortly thereafter we all headed to the beach for the main event. Maria looked stunning while Jay couldn’t have appeared happier when they both stepped out of their stretch-limo. From the limo, Maria and Jay walked through a jungly path to their secluded corner of the beach where the soft evening light cast a warm glow throughout their ceremony. As the sun moved towards the horizon we ventured to the top of Shipwrecks bluff to take advantage of the spectacular views and capture a few romantic moments. It was the perfect storybook ending to a warm and beautiful wedding day on Kauai. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Maria and Jay, and mahalo for sharing your delicious wedding cake… yum!
CLICK HERE for a complete look at Kimberly and John’s romantic morning wedding photography from the end of Anini Beach Road, on Kauai’s breathtaking North Shore. Julia and I started with Kim and the ladies as John welcomed the arriving guests with his contagious sense of humor and warm smile. A light shower moved through the sunshine to bless the celebration and Kim and John quickly stole a moment together under an umbrella. Their ceremony naturally commenced with a casual gathering of close friends and family who were all invited to participate in a unique and personal ring warming tradition. The wedding rings were passed around the circle as funny stories, fond memories, and well-wishes were shared throughout. Following Kim and John’s hand-written exchange of vows, they sealed their bond with a kiss and concluded their beach wedding with a final romantic photo session. After putting the cameras down, we were honored to also share in their brunch reception. Mahalo nui loa for your generosity, congratulations to you both, and we hope you enjoy the photos!

A light sprinkle blessed the day as Aletha and Rob shared a private moment before their festivities began. Julia and I truly enjoyed every second of capturing the laughter, love, and sweet embraces that is so natural to these beautiful newlyweds. It was a picture perfect ceremony followed by an intimate reception with many personal touches and heartfelt toasts. We even got to take home our favorite Monkeypod Jam!
